Let’s look on the bright side of life as Manchester is actually NOT the rainiest city in the UK, which is contrary to popular belief. In fact it’s the 8th rainiest city so, we do get our fair share of bad weather so say the least.
Last two days in Manchester have not been the nicest. We have been treated with heavy rain and very strong winds. But this should not stop you enjoying your days in this lovely and stunning city.
Below, I have rounded up some ideas to keep you and your family busy without getting wet.
CBBC Tour at MediaCityUK
Ideal for young children between the ages of 4 to 12. The tour brings your child’s favourite CBBC characters to life.
Head Over Heels Fairytale Play
With award winning food and excellent caring approach you will not be disappointed. Head over Heels are renowned for excellent quality and variety of different playing frames.
If you prefer to get creative then Pottery Corner is the place for you. They offer a range of quality ceramic ware for you to put your hands on. You can choose from teapots, plates, mugs and many more.
Museum of Science and Industry
Manchester is a very special city, backed with history to make us all very proud to be part of it. The Museum of Science and Industry will take you through the industrial revolution of Manchester using interactive exhibitions, lively shows as well as daily demonstrations.
My favourite is the children’s experiment area where kids of all ages can conduct their own little experiments.
We all like a little bit of competition within our families. If this sounds like you then Dog Bowl is idea places to spend few hours with your little ones and build on your family values.
Due Fratelli – Chorlton
It would be wrong not to complete this rainy collection without mentioning our outdoor BBQ and Terrace area which is due to open this Sunday the 11th of June 2017 at 1pm. Rain or shine we got it covered! Each Sunday we will be serving home made burgers, cevapi and other BBQ specials.
